The jargon of the cheese factory


Lingustically speaking, each domain and group of speakers who share the same activity have their own special language or what is called according to linguists a jargon (register).( Ennaji & Sadiqi.1994: p 74). In the cheese factory, for instance, we find a very special vocabulary. It is really very hard to find it
somewhere. It is only available in this factory.

        
If you have a chance to pay a visit or to work in this factory, you will hear this special vocabulary and you will know its meaning: “boitage”, “raclage”, “corazza”, kusnira”, “picon”, “S1”, “S2”… “Regal picon”, “vingt-quatre”, “trente-deux”, “seize”, “huit”, “le carton rouge”, “5S”, "EN", " ECV", " EBL" , " rouge", « RS » …..
